About us

Lorna StremchaWho we are: We are professional educators with a wealth of real-life experience. During the past 30-plus years, we have worked in non-profit organizations, in education and in commerce.  Most of those experiences were positive ones. But along the way, we survived hostile workplace environments and sexual harassment. We tell these stories of our lives, not as victims, but as someone who has learned how to make every experience into a positive one.

We combine this knowledge with life skills to help individuals rise to their potential. Our programs work because we understand the difficulties and challenges that come with making positive changes in our lives.  We’ve been there.

Everyone has their own unique set of attributes and talents. We can’t provide that talent, but we can help shape it.

What we do? Educate, engage, empower, and inspire.

Who do we help? Educators, parents, children, students, social workers, managers, communities. Anyone who has the desire to make a positive change in their lives.

Why do we help? Because we have been there, we know that life can sometimes overwhelm. We can choose to be a victim or we can choose to make the necessary changes in our lives that result in what we call “a best life”.

What does a best life include? Change, gratitude, reality, choices, courage, truth, open mindedness, hope, and recovery.

How do we do it? We utilize a range of programs including journals, workshop sessions, lesson plans, brainstorming activities, discussion groups, team building exercises, motivational exercises, relaxation techniques and conflict resolution. Along the way we share inspirational stories of truth and courage.

How do we do it? We work with individuals or with groups. For individuals, Resolutions! provides a strong self-help program. For groups, we provide sessions ranging from just a few hours to several days.

How much do we charge? That depends --- on your needs and the program we provide.
